Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement community engagement strategies to build strong relationships with our communities and stakeholders.
  • Lead research and analysis activities to identify changes in stakeholder and community attitudes, informing our communications and engagement strategies.
  • Represent and present AusNet's position on priority and emerging issues to communities and the Energy sector.
  • Provide advice to our Corporate Affairs and Communications team on stakeholder and community engagement matters.
  • Develop targeted communication campaigns to effectively engage with our stakeholders and manage reputational risks.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary degree or relevant experience in a related field, such as public relations, journalism, stakeholder management, or marketing.
  • Community engagement qualification, such as IAP2 certification.
  • Proven experience in a community and stakeholder engagement or communications role, with a focus on leading project or specialist function activities.
  • Relevant experience gained within major organizations, particularly in the Energy sector.
