The Engineering Manager position at a leading tech firm requires a highly skilled professional to oversee a team and drive its development. As a leader, you will be responsible for developing and reviewing code while staying up-to-date on the latest best practices.
- Manage a distributed team of engineers and its machine learning portfolio
- Organize and lead the team's processes to achieve its objectives
- Conduct one-on-one meetings with team members to discuss their progress and goals
- Identify and measure key performance indicators for the team
- Represent the company at conferences and events
- Review code produced by other engineers and provide constructive feedback
- Mentor and grow direct reports, helping them achieve their career goals
We are seeking an experienced software delivery professional with a strong track record in open-source projects. You should be proficient in Python development and have a deep understanding of machine learning concepts. Experience designing and implementing MLOps solutions is also essential.
Apart from technical skills, we value excellent communication and leadership abilities. As an Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for facilitating technical delivery, regularly reflecting with your team on strategy and execution, and contributing to the company's culture.
