A leading insurance company in the East Anglia region is seeking a skilled Commercial Underwriter to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in evaluating and underwriting commercial risks, as well as developing strong relationships with brokers.
Job DescriptionThe successful Commercial Underwriter will be responsible for assessing and underwriting new and existing clients in line with company guidelines. This will involve negotiating terms with brokers to win and retain business, maintaining and developing strong relationships with them, and analysing market trends to ensure competitive and profitable underwriting decisions.
The role involves working closely with brokers to structure competitive insurance solutions that align with the company's risk appetite and meet client needs. This is a great opportunity for a professional who enjoys relationship-building and delivering tailored insurance solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Proven experience within Commercial Insurance, ideally Property/Casualty classes
