Job Title: Retention Specialist – Donor Campaigns
">About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retention Specialist to join our team. This role focuses on designing journeys that connect with supporters across digital, email and direct mail channels.
You will be responsible for leading donor retention campaigns, crafting compelling stories and driving innovation to ensure donors feel seen, valued and inspired.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children from rural and remote NSW who need it most.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Manage donor servicing touchpoints—welcome letters, receipting, inbox support
- Implement automated donor journeys and decline recovery strategies
- Coordinate donor milestone celebrations and thank you touchpoints
- Support Giving Day and loyalty initiatives
- Analyse donor behaviour and report on retention KPIs
- Collaborate with fundraising, marketing, and data teams to deliver seamless donor experiences
About You
- 2+ years in fundraising, marketing, or donor engagement (or transferable experience)
- Experience managing direct mail and digital campaigns
- Strong project management and stakeholder coordination skills
- Familiarity with fundraising databases (Salesforce preferred)
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
- A collaborative, proactive, and donor-first mindset
