
Advanced Patient Care Specialist

About the Position:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performs routine, urgent, and emergency care.
- Triage and provides medical advice to patients within scope of practice.
- Conducts vital sign assessments, performs electrocardiograms (EKGs), draws blood, and collects urine samples.
- Maintains clinics in a manner suitable for dispensing care.
- Responds during emergency situations.
- Directs administrative needs of clinics.
- Liaises with Government Contract Officer Technical Representative (COTR) in administration of medical clinics.
Requirements:
- Australian citizenship required.
- Medical license to practice nursing in Australia required.
- BA/BS from accredited institution required.
- Minimum five years experience working as registered/licensed nurse required.
- Minimum three years experience managing, supervising, and evaluating nursing staff required.
- Knowledge of professional nursing principles, procedures, and techniques required.
- Alertness and skill in providing care and reacting to emergency situations required.
- Knowledge of training methods and interpersonal skills required.
- Practical knowledge of laboratory procedures and guidelines required.
- Maintain current CPR certification.
