We are seeking a highly skilled Graphic Designer to work 3 days a week with our team to enhance our internal and external communications. The successful candidate will assist in defining requirements, visualizing, designing, and developing a range of digital and creative visual content, including illustrations, layouts, and other designs to effectively communicate ideas and information visually.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop visually compelling brochures, presentations, fee proposal templates, branding materials, email signatures, invitations, and other marketing materials.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand project objectives and translate requirements into design concepts.
  • Apply design best practices, including features, color schemes, and user experience principles, to enhance the quality and effectiveness of design outputs.
  • Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and consistent with our brand identity.
  • Manage, update, and create collateral assets, gaining hands-on experience in asset management and organization.
  • Design and update email signature blocks, ensuring they are professional and brand-aligned.
  • Design layouts for client communications, applying layout design principles to create clear and impactful designs.
  • Support the improvement of fee proposal templates and drafts by incorporating approved imagery, layouts, and design elements.
  • Assist in the preparation and proofreading of fee proposals, ensuring accuracy and visual consistency.
  • Select appropriate descriptions and imagery that effectively convey our company's brand and message.
  • Monitor and research industry trends, competitors, and best practices to inform and inspire design work.
  • Understand and adhere to brand guidelines, ensuring design consistency across all digital and print mediums.
  • Develop skills in managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines in a professional setting.
  • Enhance verbal and written communication skills through practical design work and constructive feedback.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, Visual Arts, Fine Arts, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, with prior experience working in graphic design, either through internships, freelance work, or previous employment.
  • Experience in creating digital and print materials, such as brochures, websites, social media graphics, and advertisements.
  • Proficiency in graphic design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects).
  • Familiarity with web design tools, such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD.
  • Understanding of HTML, CSS, and basic web development principles can be beneficial.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of design styles and abilities.
  • Excellent sense of typography, color theory, and layout design.
  • Ability to create visually appealing and effective designs that meet client objectives.
  • Strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to analyze design briefs and client requirements to produce suitable design solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to present and explain design concepts clearly to clients and team members.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the latest design trends, tools, and technologies.
  • Understanding of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design principles.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team, including other designers, marketing teams, and hubs.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality and accurate design output.
