Job Description

This is a unique opportunity to take on a leadership role and drive innovation in the field of energy analysis. As the Engineering Lead, you will be responsible for shaping the vision and guiding the development of a cutting-edge digital infrastructure. This position requires a strong technical background, combined with excellent leadership and communication skills.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A degree in computer science or software engineering, or equivalent combination of qualifications and research experience
  • Meaningful leadership experience in software development, including engineering leadership or senior engineering roles delivering complex platform projects
  • Coordination, planning and management of internal team members and contractors, alongside external development providers
  • Full-stack development skills and ability to be hands-on where required, especially in early prototyping and exploration of features
  • Experience designing and implementing scalable data platforms, APIs, and cloud-based systems to a level of commercial product quality and robustness

About the Role

This is a full-time 3-year specified term position based in Newcastle, Melbourne, Brisbane, or Canberra. The successful candidate will be required to undergo a national police check and may be subject to other security/medical/character requirements.
