Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Meat Operations Director to lead our team in managing the daily operations of our meat department.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in butchery and retail management, with a proven track record of success in leading teams and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a small team of butchers and assist them in achieving their sales targets
  • Create rosters and ensure adequate staffing levels at all times
  • Generate orders and maintain accurate stock levels
  • Complete regular stock takes and maintain accurate records
Requirements
  • Australian trade qualification in Butchery (essential)
  • Fresh food retail knowledge is desirable
  • Strong leadership and delegation skills
  • Ability to coach, train and performance manage teams
  • Commitment to work health and safety standards
  • Possess excellent communication skills and ability to liaise with both team members and management
