Craftsman of Quality Meat Products
About the Role:- We are seeking a skilled Craftsman of Quality Meat Products to join our team.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in meat processing, with expertise in preparing and producing quality fresh meat products.
- You will be responsible for removing bones, trimming fat, cutting, mincing and grinding meat to shape and size for display or as ordered.
- In addition, you will prepare crumbed cuts of meat, marinate, season and cure special cuts, select and prepare meat to produce smallgoods, and operate machines to grind, mix, mince and tenderise meat.
- You will also be responsible for making seasonings and pickles by mixing spices, salt and other ingredients, and operating sausage filling machines, smoking chambers, and cooking kettles and vats.
- Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping within the Meat Department is essential.
- AQF Certificate III in Meat Processing (Butchery) or higher.
- At least 3 years recent and relevant work experience.
