Rehabilitation Consultant Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Casual Rehabilitation Consultant to provide overflow assessment support in our Central Coast area.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing expert rehabilitation assessment services, particularly in Activities of Daily Living (ADL) service provision.

The key duties include:

  • Completing ADL assessments with injured workers
  • Collaborating with employers, medical professionals and allied health professionals to provide guidance and recommendations
  • Working across various schemes such as workers compensation, compulsory third party, life insurance, Comcare, Department of Veteran's Affairs, and employer-funded schemes
  • Producing high-quality assessment reports

As part of the role, you will assess an individual's Personal, Domestic, and Community ADLs and identify recommendations for services, support and/or assistive equipment.

Key qualifications and skills required for this role include:

  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy registered with AHPRA
  • Previous experience working in Occupational Rehabilitation industry would be highly regarded
  • Fabulous communication skills for building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Compassion, kindness and empathy when working with clients
  • Well-developed time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
  • A current NSW Driver's License and access to own car with comprehensive insurance
