Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced finance professional to join our team on a part-time, permanent basis.

The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, previous experience in an accounts or finance role, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Assist the Business Manager with financial and administrative tasks to support the financial operations of the organization
  • Support accounts receivable and accounts payable activities to ensure key reporting deadlines are met
  • Reception of payments, debt collection, data entry, purchasing, payments to creditors, and office duties
Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Business Manager with a range of financial and administrative tasks. These will include supporting accounts receivable and accounts payable activities, receiving payments, debt collection, data entry, purchasing, payments to creditors, and general office duties.

Requirements:
  • A Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement
  • Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
  • A commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education
Working Conditions:

The selected candidate will be required to work on school term weeks only (holidays unpaid) with a typical Monday-Thursday schedule of 8am-4pm (30.4 hours per week).
