Job Title: Contracts Administrator

Georgiou Group is seeking a skilled Contracts Administrator to join our team on a major infrastructure project in the Gold Coast region.

About the Project:

The project involves the construction of six new bridge structures in a unique geotechnical environment with challenging interfacing on a gazetted green-field site.

Your Role:

  • Manage all cost and contractual matters to ensure project costs, revenues, claims, and supplier agreements are administered.
  • Initiate, review, analyse, and administer the closing of contracts.
  • Work with all parties to achieve the best possible commercial outcome.
  • Maintain good working relationships with clients and subcontractors while negotiating and managing the head contract and subcontractors.
  • Influence and lead others in the team to produce high-quality project outcomes.
  • Ensure delivered products comply with contract specifications and record and report on any non-conformances.
  • Ensure the project complies with Georgiou HSEQ systems, policies, standards, and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Contracts Administrator in the Civil infrastructure sector.
  • A strong understanding and experience in a range of complex contracts, ideally on projects in excess of $30m.
  • A highly analytical approach and strong attention to detail.
  • Well-developed communication skills to assist in client meetings.
  • The ability to develop client and subcontractor relationships.
  • A strong desire to grow and develop your career.
  • Priority will be given to applicants with experience in the construction or other similar industries.
