We are seeking a seasoned Portfolio Manager to lead our software implementation projects, ensuring timely delivery and profitability.
Job DescriptionA leading General Insurance Software vendor is looking for a skilled Portfolio Manager to oversee a growing portfolio of projects. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and team-building capabilities, as well as excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee a portfolio of projects, ensuring delivery on time and within budget
- Supervise and support Delivery Managers during the pre-sales process, ensuring alignment with client requirements and project scope
- Lead resource planning efforts, identifying potential gaps or bench time risks
- Foster a culture of mentorship and development, providing opportunities for professional growth
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- At least 7 years of experience in end-to-end software implementation Project Management
- 4+ years of Portfolio/Program Management experience
- MUST HAVE Client Facing Software Vendor, Consulting or System Integrator experience
- Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall project methodologies
- Relevant project management certifications (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2)
