Job Description

We are seeking a professional to join our team as a Licensing and Regulation Officer. This is a temporary assignment with the potential to extend.

As a key member of our Regulatory Division, you will be responsible for processing maritime products and services into our database to achieve organisational objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-level customer service to stakeholders.
  • Answer enquiries in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Process high volumes of data related to HIN (Hole identification Numbers), mooring, and other waterways information into our system.
  • Manage records and databases, ensuring integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality.
  • Generate professional correspondence, official cautions, notices, and customer letters after approval from the Compliance Coordinator.
  • Process financial transactions, including payments and banking.
  • Stay up-to-date with specialised maritime products and services.
  • Support the administration of all maritime operations.
  • Perform other duties as required to ensure compliance with best practice and legislative requirements.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience working within a regulatory or licensing environment.
  • Previous experience in a high-volume environment.
  • Professionalism, resilience, and confidence with a customer service delivery focus.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Solid analytical, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise conflicting deadlines.
  • Computer literacy and proficiency with MS Office suite.
  • Fully COVID vaccinated or medically exempt.
  • Ability to commence and commit to the duration of the assignment.
