We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Receptionist to join our team at Griffith University. As a key member of our Health and Medical Services team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional administrative support and ensuring the smooth operation of our services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-level administrative support to the Health and Medical Services team, including managing billing, cash and EFTPOS transactions, and reconciliation.
- Coordinate practitioner appointment books and triage clients in a timely and efficient manner.
- Work collaboratively with other Health and Medical Services staff, and visiting health practitioners, to provide administrative support and ensure seamless service delivery.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, external agencies, and employees to ensure a positive and supportive service environment.
- Proven experience working in a clinical or medical environment, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on customer service.
- Experience with practice management systems, including Genie and Point and Click, is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
