Job Title: Senior Geotechnical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Geotechnical Engineer to lead our geotechnical division and drive growth in a dynamic consultancy with a strong reputation in the environmental industry.

This consultancy boasts an impressive track record in the environmental industry, with a robust pipeline of geotechnical projects. To capitalize on this momentum, they are heavily investing in the establishment of a dedicated geotechnical branch.

The successful candidate will be the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, overseeing projects from inception to completion. They will assist in operational matters and spearhead the growth of the geotechnical division.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct geotechnical investigations and inspections to ensure project deliverables
  • Produce high-quality geotechnical reports to inform project decisions
  • Liaise with clients and key stakeholders to ensure project completion and satisfaction
  • Manage a team of Junior Geotechnical Engineers to drive growth and development
  • Coordinate contractors and manage workload across the broader team to optimize project outcomes
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in an engineering consultancy with a strong track record of project delivery
  • Excellent project experience on residential projects with a focus on geotechnical engineering
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with clients and stakeholders
  • Relevant qualifications in Engineering with a focus on geotechnical engineering
  • Experience training and developing a team of Junior Geotechnical Engineers
  • Proficiency in software tools such as Plaxis 2d/3d, Wallap, Geostudio, and Circly
