Climate Reporting Policy Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our climate reporting efforts. As a key member of our Group Sustainability function, you will be responsible for developing and implementing climate-related reporting policies and guidance, as well as driving the production of our climate-related financial disclosures.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement climate-related reporting policies and guidance in accordance with Australian Sustainability Reporting Standards (ASRS)
- Provide technical input and develop supporting technical papers on the application of measurement and reporting requirements under ASRS
- Support the preparation of our climate-related financial disclosures in the Annual Report and develop pro forma disclosures that comply with ASRS
- Develop and present training on current and future climate-related financial disclosure standards
We are looking for a candidate with extensive finance and accounting policy or financial reporting experience, preferably in the insurance industry. You will have a keen interest in climate reporting and excellent technical accounting knowledge, with a focus on standards relevant to our business. Strong project management and planning capabilities, as well as experience in stakeholder management and negotiation, are also essential.
