Perioperative Registered Nurse

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Perioperative Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team on a permanent part-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centred care in a fast-paced surgical environment.

  • The unit features two endoscopy rooms and a dedicated operating theatre where we deliver exceptional care for every patient.
  • As a Perioperative Registered Nurse, you will work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team under the guidance of the Nurse Unit Manager, Clinical Nurse, and Shift Leaders.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will be a positive and effective team player with excellent clinical and interpersonal skills. A minimum of 2 years Anaesthetic nursing experience is required, along with a proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required.

  • A current registration with AHPRA is essential.
  • You must demonstrate excellent time management and organisational skills.
Key Responsibilities

The Perioperative Registered Nurse will be responsible for:

  • Delivering high-quality, patient-centred care in line with established standards and guidelines.
  • Developing and implementing individualised care plans in consultation with the healthcare team.
  • Monitoring and reporting patient progress in a timely and accurate manner.
Requirements

The following requirements must be met:

  • A National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months.
  • A Working-With-Children check may be required depending on the specific role.
