Desanding Plant Operations Specialist

About the Role:

The Desanding Plant Operations Specialist is responsible for overseeing and managing the preparation of excavation mud in accordance with industry standards and best practices.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Monitors and controls plant operations to ensure optimal performance and efficiency
  • Verifies that materials meet quality standards, adhering to safety protocols and regulatory requirements
  • Maintains a safe working environment and ensures compliance with safety procedures and quality standards
  • Conducts routine and non-routine maintenance of equipment to prevent breakdowns and minimize downtime
  • Prepares daily reports on production, highlighting key achievements and areas for improvement
  • Communicates effectively with line management regarding any breaches or concerns related to QHSE
  • Performs additional tasks as directed by supervisors or project managers

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Extensive knowledge of desanding plant operations and maintenance
  • Able to operate and monitor desanding plants, evaluating their performance and efficiency
  • Able to assess and evaluate the physical properties of slurries, ensuring they meet required standards
  • Able to perform final cleanouts of plants and mud distribution pipelines, maintaining high levels of cleanliness and hygiene
