Data Centre Shift Technician

This role is part of a critical services job function, focusing on delivering technical maintenance services in high-stakes environments.
About the Role:- Conduct daily site inspections to ensure all mechanical and engineering systems are functioning efficiently and safely.
- Maintain a safe working environment by monitoring and addressing environmental conditions.
- Respond promptly to alarm notifications and perform emergency repairs as required.
- Collaborate with external vendors to ensure compliance with established processes and regulations.
- Execute planned preventative maintenance tasks on equipment to prevent downtime.
- Monitor building management systems for running and alarm conditions, resolving HVAC-related issues.
- Perform regular building walkthroughs to record meter readings from UPS, PDUs, and utilities.
- Address facility faults and defects with effective solutions.
- Minimum Certificate III in Electrotechnology (HVAC-R) or equivalent qualification.
- Australian citizenship and NV1 clearance.
- Training in a technical discipline with 2-4 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
