Waste Management Opportunity

We are seeking experienced Heavy Rigid Drivers to join our team in residential waste management. This is a fantastic opportunity for those looking for immediate starts and long-term, permanent employment.


About the Role

This role involves operating SideArm or Rear Loader trucks for kerbside collection. The successful candidate will be required to follow scheduled routes, complete timely and safe collections, and support depot operations as needed.


Key Responsibilities
  • Operate heavy rigid vehicles for residential kerbside collection
  • Follow scheduled routes and complete collections on time and safely
  • Support runners and offsiders as required
  • Maintain high safety standards including PPE and hazard reporting
  • Communicate effectively with depot and operations teams

Requirements
  • Valid Heavy Rigid Licence
  • 6–12 months experience driving heavy rigid vehicles (waste industry highly regarded)
  • Reliable transport to and from the depot
  • Physically fit: able to climb in/out of trucks and lift up to 30 kg
  • Strong safety awareness and team mindset
  • Able to pass drug & alcohol testing and a police check
