About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Team Leader to join our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health team. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and support to our multidisciplinary team, ensuring that our services are culturally safe and effective for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and support to the multidisciplinary team
  • Develop and implement culturally appropriate interventions to improve health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients
  • Collaborate with the team to assess and provide clinical intervention to clients with complex needs
  • Support and guide team members in developing culturally appropriate care plans
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A Certificate IV in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care (Practice) or equivalent
  • Registration with the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Practice Board of Australia
  • Experience working in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health
  • Strong clinical leadership and communication skills
