About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Worker to join our team in Hobart. As a Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our customers, enabling them to live independently at home for longer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning and laundry, to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment for our customers.
  • Assist with meal preparation and shopping, ensuring our customers have access to nutritious food and groceries.
  • Offer social support and engage our customers in lifestyle activities, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and medication management, to support our customers' daily needs.
  • Offer respite and emotional support to our customers and their families, providing a sense of relief and comfort.
  • Transport our customers to appointments and social events, promoting their independence and social connections.

Requirements
  • A current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • A compassionate and empathetic approach, with a commitment to providing high-quality care and support.
  • Availability to work a minimum of 3 days per week, Monday to Friday.
