We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled audit professional to support our financial markets business. You will interact directly with various teams and stakeholders.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing a thorough understanding of our financial markets businesses, their products, and how they operate both domestically and internationally.
  • Assisting in audit planning, including the identification of processes, risks, and controls for testing.
  • Executing audit fieldwork: testing the design and operating effectiveness of controls, utilizing data analytics to provide insights, identifying and documenting audit issues, and agreeing management action plans.
  • Assisting in the reporting stages of the audit engagement, including preparing and discussing audit reports with management.
  • Continuously monitoring business unit developments, activities, issue management, emerging risks, or concerns.

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • An undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent field.
  • Experience in external audit and/or internal audit experience.
  • Membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia (ICAA) or Certified Practising Accountants (CPA).
  • Experience in financial services, particularly in financial markets.
  • Strong communication and relationship skills.
