Emergency Medicine Physician

A medical leader is required to manage daily ED operations, supervise junior clinicians and liaise with consultants and other departments.

Assess and treat patients with a wide range of acute presentations including trauma, medical, surgical, paediatric and mental health in a dynamic team environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing daily ED operations
  • Supervising junior clinicians
  • Liaising with consultants and other departments

Additionally the role involves participating in a structured roster covering after-hours and weekend shifts with senior consultant backup and promoting best practices in triage patient flow quality improvement and departmental governance.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to relocate to a vibrant coastal city near beaches with affordable housing.
