The Role:

  • Develop and deliver annual public programs including events, ceremonies, workshops and special tours.
  • Develop new opportunities and external collaborations to deepen the public's understanding about Parliament House, the work of Parliament, parliamentary democracy, the architecture and art collections, and Australia's political history.
  • Coordinate and deliver departmental briefing papers, strategic plans, correspondence, and other collateral to senior stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Manage requests received by DPS to fly or lower external flags at APH, and illumination requests, in line with policies and protocols.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications from a tertiary institution, or substantial relevant work experience. Experience working in government agencies would be highly regarded.
  • The successful applicant will be required to obtain and maintain a Baseline Vetting (Protected/Restricted) security clearance.
  • Obtain and maintain a WWVP card.
