About the Opportunity

We are seeking experienced coal professionals to join our Whynot Bord and Pillar Operation, a unique chance to showcase expertise and contribute to operational success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To hold a First, Second or Third-Class Certificate of Competency or Mutual Recognition;
  • To comply with Safety Health Management Systems, Coal Mining Legislation and relevant statutory requirements;
  • To possess a strong work ethic with an excellent attendance record;
  • To follow site procedures, instructions, and equipment specifications and limitations for effective and safe use;
  • To define and communicate performance goals and provide regular feedback on performance;
  • To demonstrate strong leadership abilities and problem-solving skills in complex situations;

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of Underground Coal Experience within a production panel;
  • NSW Certificate of Competency;
  • A strong commitment to safety protocols and procedures;
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and in challenging underground environments;
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to each day on shift;
