About this role:

We are seeking an experienced professional to fill a Senior Development Consultant position.

As a Senior Development Consultant, you will play a key role in managing our interface with State-significant health, education, and transport infrastructure projects.

Your responsibilities will include providing comprehensive project coordination and support through our case management platform, maintaining case management documentation, facilitating meetings with internal and external stakeholders, reviewing case documents, building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, and calculating and issuing Infrastructure Contributions.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with diverse stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration and delivery.

  • End-to-end case management to ensure the seamless delivery of essential infrastructure.
  • Providing comprehensive project coordination and support through our case management platform.
  • Maintaining case management documentation with a strong focus on quality control.
  • Facilitating meetings with internal and external stakeholders to resolve design approval issues.
  • Reviewing case documents in compliance with Sydney Water's policies, procedures and guidelines.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts.
  • Calculating and issuing Infrastructure Contributions with precision and accountability.
What You Will Need:
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering, Urban Planning, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, with the ability to adapt to shifting priorities and deliver results.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse options and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to consult, negotiate, and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • The ability to assess and review key documents, including commercial deeds, designs, funding/procurement packages, and finalisation packages.
