Senior Electrical Project Manager

As an experienced Electrical Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring all electrical works for the project are carried out in accordance with drawings, scope of works, company standards and specifications, Australian Standards and to the project schedule.

Some key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring personnel maintain safe systems of work.
  • Planning activities to meet standards and minimise inefficiencies.
  • Directing and coordinating the workforce for electrical requirements of the contract.
  • Understanding risk management, quality assurance and control principles.
  • Participating in safety investigations, reporting and discussions.
  • Participating in Quality Assurance audits.
  • Liaising with client and contractor representatives.
  • Monitoring site instructions to ensure costs are captured and agreed upon.

To be successful in this position, you will have at least 3 years' experience as an Electrical Supervisor within the heavy construction industry and hold your WA electrical licence.

You will need to demonstrate strong leadership skills, negotiation and dispute resolution skills, and excellent communication skills.

The following qualifications are also essential:

  • S26 Statutory Supervisor training
  • A high level of commitment to safety.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Well-developed numeracy and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a high functioning team.
  • White Card and valid driver's licence.

This is a mid-senior level role with a contract employment type.
