Job Title:

A Fabrication Expert Trainee

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and skilled individual to join our fabrication team as an Apprentice Fabricator. As an Apprentice, you will work under the guidance of experienced fabricators and gain hands-on experience in fabrication and welding activities.

About the Role:

This apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to combine theoretical knowledge with practical skills, allowing you to develop a strong foundation in metalworking techniques.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist experienced fabricators in various tasks such as cutting, shaping, and assembling metal components
  • Operate machinery and tools safely and efficiently
  • Maintain a clean and organized workshop environment
Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Certificate III in Engineering, Fabrication course at North Wollongong TAFE
  • Practical skills in welding, cutting, shaping, and assembling metal components
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
