Aircraft Maintenance Planner Required

We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Planner to support the planning of scheduled maintenance requests.

The successful candidate will ensure that maintenance is completed in line with organisational procedures and policies, meeting contractual agreements and aligning planned work with available labour capacity.

As a key member of our Engineering Line Maintenance team, you will be responsible for managing the production planning process to ensure seamless maintenance event execution.

You will liaise and build relationships with key stakeholders from both Part 145 and various organisations, seeking new ways to meet customer needs and support the business in achieving critical goals.

In this role, you will implement new processes and procedures within the Production Planning business, using critical business tools to drive significant and sustainable long-term change.

Key responsibilities include reviewing and adjusting deferral codes allocated against engineering operations where required, providing detailed performance reports to the Production Planning Manager and Precinct Managers.

We are looking for someone who is hardworking, motivated and proactive, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. You should be organised, logical, detail-oriented, capable of working both within a team and independently when required.

About You:
  • Has a detailed understanding of aircraft maintenance operations
  • Holds an aviation trade certificate or tertiary qualification in an aviation stream
  • Has experience in an aircraft maintenance environment in a maintenance planning capacity, and as a qualified engineer
  • Possesses excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, capable of assessing options and developing solutions
  • Has excellent communication skills to effectively communicate across all levels within a team
  • Has proven people management skills
  • Is experienced with TRAX and Microsoft Office
  • Can work rotating shift patterns (day shifts only at this time)
  • Can hold a valid ASIC
