Job Overview

A challenging full-time opportunity is now available for a motivated and experienced AMO Production Planner to join our organization.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about aviation and has a strong background in aircraft maintenance planning.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and have a strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the production planning process to ensure seamless maintenance event execution, identify turn times, resource requirements, and stakeholder requirements.
  • Drive continual excellence in safety, compliance, on-time performance, and company brand values through successful production planning initiatives.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders from Part 145 and Part 42 organizations to build relationships and support business goals.
  • Implement new processes and procedures within the AMO Production Planning department to drive significant and sustainable long-term change.
  • Review and adjust deferral codes allocated against Sydney Engineering as required.
  • Provide detailed organization performance reports to the AMO Production Planning Manager and Sydney Precinct Managers.

The ideal candidate will have a detailed understanding of Aircraft Line and Light Maintenance Operations, an aircraft trade certificate or tertiary qualification in an aviation stream, experience in an aircraft maintenance environment in a maintenance planning capacity, and excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
