Job Summary

The successful incumbent will be responsible for providing quality and timely underground mining support services, including air, water, ventilation, pump lines, tele-remote, and electricity setups.

This role requires the ability to operate various tools and equipment such as elevated work platforms, integrated tool carriers, light vehicles, and other hydraulically operated mobile machinery. Additionally, the incumbent must provide reliable and accurate knowledge to minimize downtime and perform preventative maintenance through scheduled inspections, servicing, adjustments, troubleshooting, and organizing the timely repair of operating equipment.

Action tasks in accordance with environmental policies, including control, containment, cleanup, and communication of all environmental spills, particularly oil and hydraulic leaks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Air, water, ventilation, pump lines, tele-remote, and electricity setups
  • Operation of tools and equipment, such as elevated work platforms, integrated tool carriers, light vehicles, and other hydraulically operated mobile machinery
  • Providing reliable and accurate knowledge to minimize downtime
  • Performing preventative maintenance through scheduled inspections, servicing, adjustments, troubleshooting, and organizing the timely repair of operating equipment
Requirements
  • Experience in underground operations in a service or paste crew capacity
  • Truck Operation experience advantageous
  • Dangerous Goods and Working at Heights Ticket required
  • Valid manual drivers' licence essential

About This Role

This role is offered on 8 days on 6 days off, 7 nights on 7 days off roster, and is Fly in Fly out from Perth.
