We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager to lead our Policy and Quality Assurance team at the Department of Education, Western Australia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and analysis of policy and strategy in a regulatory environment, underpinned by the Act.
  • Develop and review policy to align with strategic and business outcomes in a continuous improvement environment.
  • Manage and lead teams to deliver services within a regulatory environment, ensuring quality systems and compliance with agency processes and accountability requirements.
  • Represent the Department and provide high-level policy advice and support at an Agency and Board level.
  • Develop and maintain client-centered frameworks for stakeholder communication and engagement.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in leading policy and strategy development in a regulatory environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and sustain productive internal and external relationships.
  • Strong stakeholder focus and ability to work with a cohesive, highly capable, and autonomous team.
  • Leadership skills that recognize and empower team members' capability to undertake their respective projects, programs, and priorities.
  • Ability to develop and review policy to align with strategic and business outcomes in a continuous improvement environment.
