Intensive Care Surgeon

This esteemed fellowship position offers a unique chance to gain extensive experience in acute care surgery within a supportive and closely supervised environment.
As a fellow, you will work as an integral member of the Emergency General Surgical service and Trauma Service within the Department of General Surgical Specialties, actively participating in patient care, teaching, education, and clinical research.
- You will be involved in a wide range of Specialist General Surgery activities commensurate with a tertiary referral centre and Level One Trauma Service.
Working alongside a dedicated team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with severe injuries and emergency surgical conditions.

Requirements- Registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA) or eligibility for international medical graduates.
- Holding an MBBS or equivalent tertiary qualification.
- Possessing F.R.A.C.S or equivalent in General Surgery.
- Completion of the Early Management of Severe Trauma (EMST) course.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and possess well-developed communication and presentation skills.
