Job Description:

We provide essential foot care services to residents in aged care facilities, including general foot and nail care, diabetic management, wound care, equipment prescription, and comprehensive assessment and care planning. As a Foot Care Specialist, you will work collaboratively with our team to deliver a holistic approach to care, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality podiatry services, including assessments, treatments, and care planning.
  • Build strong relationships with facility staff to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Collaborate with clinical coordinators and other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth handovers and daily updates.
  • Maintain accurate client documentation and adhere to infection control policies.
  • Participate in team discussions, mentoring, and case management.
  • Ensure equipment is transported, well-maintained, and safely used across multiple sites if needed.

Requirements:

  • Podiatry qualifications and current registration with AHPRA, or eligibility for registration.
  • Experience in aged care or a strong interest in working with elderly clients.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and documentation skills.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality podiatry care and working collaboratively within a team.
  • Driving licence is essential.
