Key Responsibilities- Implement and refine operational strategies to enhance organisational performance and minimise risk.
- Engage in comprehensive strategic planning and manage initiatives to bolster financial metrics such as gross margin and net earnings.
- Develop and manage effective business rules, conduct financial comparisons, and ensure robust financial planning and forecasting processes are in place.
- Provide guidance and leadership to the Operational Control team, ensuring all members are equipped with necessary training and tools to perform optimally.
- Play a key role in financial planning and analysis to drive profitability and ensure the company meets its financial targets.
- Work closely with the MD, Cluster, and Entity Senior Management teams to define forecasts and targets, and have direct impact on our operational and strategic outcomes.
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering or Commerce.
- Proven experience in a similar role.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with financial forecasting and strategy development.
- Excellent people management and leadership abilities.
- Knowledge of industrial gas business and operations.
- Understanding of ERP and BI systems.
