We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Wildland Fire Specialist. This role will be responsible for responding to and mitigating the risks of wildland fires across Queensland.

As a member of our emergency services team, you will be expected to work collaboratively with other emergency responders to ensure effective prevention, preparation, response, and recovery activities in emergency situations.

The functions of this role are unique and require a high level of adaptability, flexibility, and communication skills. You will be required to attend incidents and emergencies, participate in regular drills and training sessions, and maintain the required attendance standards.

In addition to your firefighting responsibilities, you will also contribute to community safety and emergency preparedness by participating in community education activities and promoting fire-safe practices.
