Concrete Agitator Operator

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our concrete plant in northwest Tasmania. This driving-focused role involves operating a concrete agitator truck, delivering high-quality product to customers, and assisting with batching and operations when needed.
Key Responsibilities- Driving & Delivery:
- Operate a concrete agitator truck safely to deliver concrete to customers.
- Complete a structured training program covering agitator operation, slump testing, and safe delivery.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform daily pre-start checks.
- Represent the company professionally at all times on the road and on-site.
- Batching & Operations:
- Support batching plant operations when required.
- Assist in material handling using a front-end loader (training provided if necessary).
- Monitor product quality and manage raw materials.
- Perform basic maintenance and contribute to housekeeping and safety.
- Hold a valid Heavy Rigid licence.
- Be keen to get hands-on experience in batching and concrete production.
- Have or be willing to obtain a White Card.
- Commit to a Monday to Friday schedule with rostered Saturday half-days and overtime.
- Enjoy working in a team and prioritize safety and customer satisfaction.
- Be physically fit and capable of performing manual tasks.
- Competitive hourly rate: $29.13 – $31.03 + penalties + super.
