
Financial Administrator

As a key member of our team, you will provide high-level financial support with a stakeholder focus to maximise hospital revenue. You will undertake specialised financial and administrative duties including maintaining financial records in accordance with relevant service standards, legislation and policies.
Responsibilities- Operational knowledge of financial instructions, legislation and accounting procedures for receiving, processing and recording financial system payments and adjustments.
- Demonstrated ability to complete assigned tasks with efficiency, accuracy and within set deadlines while delivering with a stakeholder focus.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills to engage with clients, staff and business organisations.
- Accuracy of data and information. Investigation and resolution of discrepancies and application of correct charges, calculations or codes prior to data entry.
- Liaising with hospital personnel, interdepartmental staff and clients on revenue and account enquiries providing advice and instruction in finance operational processes.
- Raising, receipting, reconciling and processing accounts receivable for debtors in accordance with relevant policies and procedures.
Key Performance Indicators: Timely completion of tasks, accuracy of financial records, effective communication with stakeholders.
Required Skills and QualificationsThe ideal candidate will possess operational knowledge of financial instructions, legislation and accounting procedures. They will also have the ability to work efficiently with accuracy and meet deadlines while maintaining a stakeholder focus.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients, staff and business organisations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
