Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced NDIS Administration professional to support our clients in Western Sydney.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support, coordination, and services to ensure a smooth and efficient experience for all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate NDIS participants' services and supports.
  • Complete administration tasks to the required standard, ensuring full compliance with legislative requirements.
  • Maintain relationships with non-government bodies and disability associations/groups.
  • Focus on participant goals and objectives in support responses.
  • Provide expert advice and consultation to NDIS participants and their families on the changing NDIS environment.
  • Deliver services and support with high customer service standards.
  • Keep accurate and complete records of work activities in accordance with legislative requirements.
  • Manage staff schedules and calendars.
  • Assist with new client referrals and onboarding processes.
  • Meet and engage with new clients to explain available NDIS services.
  • Develop new service agreements and gather intake information and documents.
  • Maintain client files and provide secretarial support.
  • Perform clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing, and faxing.

Requirements

  • Experience working with people with disabilities and their support networks.
  • Demonstrated enablement and strength-based approach skills.
  • Sound understanding of the National Disability Insurance Scheme.
  • High level of verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong computer literacy and skills.
  • Excellent writing skills.
  • Proven record keeping experience, including maintaining confidential information.
  • Knowledge of 'Reasonable and Necessary' criteria and NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Accustomed to meeting Key Performance Indicators.
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field or relevant industry experience.
  • Current unrestricted NSW Driver's license.
  • Support Coordination experience is preferred.
  • At least two years of relevant experience.
  • Full working rights.
  • Working with Children Check and Police Clearance Check.
