About the Role

Catholic Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Assistant to join our team at Charles O'Neill, Mayfield. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their dignity, comfort, and well-being are maintained.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with personal care activities such as showering, dressing, and grooming
  • Support residents with daily tasks, including eating, social activities, and mobility
  • Work collaboratively with the clinical team to ensure care plans are implemented and residents' needs are met
  • Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to a safe and inclusive environment
  • Provide exceptional customer service to families and the community
Requirements
  • A Certificate 3 in Aged Care (or equivalent) and a willingness to learn and grow
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues
  • A kind and compassionate approach, with a genuine passion for providing high-quality care
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Understanding of workplace health and safety principles and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment
