About the Role

The Team Leader plays a pivotal role in delivering exceptional care to our residents at all times. This position supports the Clinical Care Coordinator and Registered Nurse to oversee and coordinate care to residents across the home, ensuring individual needs, wishes, and goals are met in a supportive and respectful environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide holistic and person-centered care to residents, ensuring their social and emotional needs are met.
  • Support the coordination of care needs, including medication management, nutrition, and hydration, as well as pressure care management.
  • Lead and supervise care on the shift, within designated wings or areas.
  • Perform medicine-related tasks in accordance with scope of qualification, state or territory legislation, and Calvary policies.
About You
  • Relevant qualifications: Diploma of Enrolled Nursing (with APRHA Registration to administer medication), Certificate IV in Ageing Support, or Certificate III in Individual Support with willingness to undertake training.
  • High level of commitment, integrity, honesty, and trustworthiness.
  • Effective listener with ability to communicate at all levels, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to understand and use information technology and programs, and to learn new skills as required.
  • Current National police check.
  • Working knowledge of WH&S and Infection Control.
  • Desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission-based organization.
