We are seeking an experienced Ranger to join our team in the Shire of Capel. Located in the South West of Western Australia, we offer a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and growing coastal community.

As a Community Ranger, you will play a vital role in promoting understanding of and compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Your duties will include enforcing local laws, providing education and support to the community, and working collaboratively with other teams to achieve shared goals.

This is a casual position with up to full-time hours available to cover leave. The base salary is $69,200 per annum pro rata, dependent on skills, experience, and qualifications. In addition to this, you will receive 25% casual loading, on-call allowance, and shift penalties, as well as up to 14% Shire superannuation contribution and employee benefits.

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate high-level verbal and written communication skills, including public relations experience. You must also have previous experience as a Ranger or Law Enforcement Officer, and be able to effectively use a range of electronic devices and programs.

Physical work is required, including lifting, and you must hold a minimum C-class driver's license and police clearance. First Aid qualifications are also essential.
