Job Description:

We are seeking an accomplished leader to fill the Interim Executive Officer role, working closely with our Board and General Managers. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the recruitment of a permanent Executive Officer in collaboration with the council's human resources team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to fulfill the obligations of the Interim Executive Officer role.
  • Support the recruitment process for the permanent Executive Officer in coordination with the human resources team.
  • Engage with regional councils and key stakeholders to advance strategic priorities and sustainability initiatives.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and communication skills, with experience in a similar role. They must also have the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and drive solutions-oriented outcomes.
