We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Recovery Officer to join our Bunnings Credit team. As a Recovery Officer, you will play a critical role in guiding our customers through our debt recovery process and providing tailored repayment solutions based on their unique situation.
Key Responsibilities- Initiate and support debt recovery actions for a specific group of customers in Australia and New Zealand.
- Utilize communication skills, negotiation techniques, investigative tools, and an understanding of debt collection practices to recover overdue payments.
- Liaise directly with external clients, including lawyers and mercantile agents.
- Interpret and assess online credit reports.
- Obtain documentation as required, including directors' guarantees, financials, and customer backgrounds.
- Provide phone support to internal and external stakeholders.
- Respond to enquiries and resolve customer queries.
- Demonstrate a keen ownership of a Recoveries ledger and work towards KPIs and targets.
- Identify potential accounts for legal action.
- Follow up on broken arrangements and determine appropriate action.
- Achieve sustainable solutions for customers and their businesses by negotiating payment plans and building rapport with customers.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- A high level of initiative and work ethic.
