Senior Finance Professional Role Summary

As a seasoned financial expert, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality financial analysis and reporting to drive business decisions and growth. You will collaborate closely with the finance team to provide valuable insights and recommendations that support the organization's financial objectives.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of monthly financial insights and data to enhance decision-making and achieve financial goals, including journals, ledger/sub-ledger analysis and reconciliations, delivery of financial reports to stakeholders.
  • Assist with the completion of annual/half-year financial statements and audit for group and APAC subsidiary entities, and support technical and practical accounting matters.
  • Balance sheet accounting, including maintenance of fixed asset registers, accounting for intangibles and capitalized development costs, management of receivables and payables.
  • Contribute to finance systems knowledge and support, including involvement in system process change and improvement.
  • Financial analysis and support in relation to business initiatives, restructures and mergers and acquisitions as required.
  • Delivery of ad hoc financial analysis and reporting.

Requirements:

  • Qualified accountant with post-qualification experience.
  • Well-developed financial analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft products, particularly Excel, with experience in Netsuite and Adaptive Insights an advantage.
  • A track record of working for a global business with demonstrated ability to adhere to tight deadlines and work under pressure.
  • Demonstrated success supporting businesses and providing insight to support decision making and achieve financial goals.
  • Ability to understand the business and think strategically and commercially.
  • Ability to demonstrate ownership and accountability for assigned tasks.
