About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Mental Health Clinician to join our team at Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network. As a key member of our community health team, you will contribute to the delivery of a comprehensive and integrated range of evidence-based, recovery-oriented mental health services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess consumers and select and implement different therapeutic interventions and/or support programs
  • Evaluate progress and work collaboratively with consumers, families, and carers to achieve positive outcomes
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with consumers, families, and carers, and other stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of mental health services and programs
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the continuous improvement of mental health services
Requirements
  • Hold a degree or equivalent qualification in Social Work, or be registered as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, and hold a current practicing certificate along with a qualification in Mental Health practice
  • Be eligible for membership with the relevant professional association
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
  • Have a strong commitment to the principles of recovery-oriented mental health practice and a willingness to work in a strength-based approach
