Job Title

A highly skilled and experienced Medical Specialist is sought to provide exceptional clinical care and leadership in our General Medicine department.

  • The successful candidate will be a registered medical practitioner with expertise in General Medicine and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality clinical services to inpatients admitted under the general medicine service, including provision of outpatient services.
  • Participate in after-hours services and rosters in general medicine at CMN.
  • Provide clinical leadership to junior colleagues by ensuring a high standard of patient care which conforms to best practice and is evidence based.
Requirements:
  • A Primary Medical Degree registrable with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians.
  • Demonstrated experience and qualification(s) in General Medicine.
  • Demonstrated capacity for clinical leadership, a commitment to undergraduate and post-graduate teaching in medicine, nursing and allied health and willingness to participate in clinical research.
