Job Overview

The role of a Career Development Professional involves overseeing the entire lifecycle of learning programs, from development to delivery. This includes coordinating training schedules, communicating with stakeholders, and ensuring seamless implementation.

  • Program Administration (50%): Manage the training calendar, distribute it to relevant parties, track attendance records, coordinate logistics, arrange necessary resources, set up training spaces, provide reports on training completion as required, monitor mandatory training requirements, ensure ambassadors adhere to standards, maintain accurate Learning Trackers.
  • Luxury Training (10%): Deliver high-end training programs, familiarize yourself with premium offerings, implement training according to Accor guidelines.
  • Career Development Community (5%): Interact with the Career Development community as needed, update senior management and Talent and Culture Manager on program changes, educate and rollout new initiatives upon release from headquarters.
  • Quality Assurance (20 %): Identify trainers within departments for upskilling, drive performance against Quality metrics, develop a train-the-trainer community for monitoring service quality, create training needs analysis based on feedback, monitor progress.
  • Systems Management and Reporting (10%): Collaborate with head office to deploy the Learning Management System, provide monthly reports on training completed, training needs analysis, quality focus areas, maintain up-to-date Learning Trackers for transparency, continually update employee profiles with learning progress.
  • Performance Review Process Coordination (5%): Roll out and upskill leaders on Leadership Capability Framework, coordinate Performance Reviews in collaboration with the Talent and Culture Manager, provide systems training on review process, nurture and develop HiPo's and Senior Leadership Team for succession planning.
  • Culture and Engagement: Contribute to fostering a positive culture representing the department and the organization, assist in planning, coordinating and driving engagement activities throughout the organization, provide support to implement activities around inclusion and diversity, CSR, wellbeing, national and international recognized days, coordinate in collaboration with the Talent and Culture Coordinator, the Town Hall monthly events and monthly newsletter.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Talent for building capability across diverse levels, backgrounds, age groups, and abilities.
  • Background in service industries, preferably in hospitality but not essential.
  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment qualified.
  • Advanced communication skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management.
  • Versatility to facilitate, develop content, and ensure all admin and compliance is kept up to date.
